Only a few days left until the start of the Berlinale. And there’s one film I’m looking forward so much: It’s in the hommage category. It’s by Steven Spielberg. It’s from 1982. And: It’s the first movie I’ve seen in a cinema: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
It was in a small cinema in a small city in South Germany, Lörrach. The name of the cinema was Union Kino, with two screens. I was there with my father, and I loved it. The cinema has closed its doors last year.
I hope to get tickets for my son and me. It will be the second time I’ll see it in a cinema.
