E.T. goes Berlinale

Only a few days left until the start of the Berli­nale. And there’s one film I’m look­ing for­ward so much: It’s in the hom­mage cat­e­go­ry. It’s by Steven Spiel­berg. It’s from 1982. And: It’s the first movie I’ve seen in a cin­e­ma: E.T. the Extra-Ter­res­tri­al.

It was in a small cin­e­ma in a small city in South Ger­many, Lör­rach. The name of the cin­e­ma was Union Kino, with two screens. I was there with my father, and I loved it. The cin­e­ma has closed its doors last year.

I hope to get tick­ets for my son and me. It will be the sec­ond time I’ll see it in a cin­e­ma.
